The Simple Life: Til Death Do Us Part Finale - Whaaaa?

I loved the first season of The Simple Life. I was beginning to lose interest in but still hung in there for the second season. Was there a third season? I missed most of the latest season of The Simple Life and then watched most of the episodes yesterday in E!'s marathon, in preparation for the final episode. That episode was advertised as containing a confrontation between the feuding Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Ever the pop culture fan, I held out hope for a reconciliation between the two. Imagine my disappointment when the season finale ended with a really REALLY short "confrontation" a teaser for the next season. Argh!
