The Office: "I Am Going Nowhere."

I'm still shell-shocked from Thursday night's Season 3 finale of The Office. It was, hands down, the best episode of any television comedy in recent memory...possibly ever. I can't do better than Entertainment Weekly's Abby West's morning after description here, so please check it out. I will be patiently waiting all summer long for the Fall 2007 season to begin. What an amazing, amazing TV series this is!

Lost - The 11 Frames of Jacob

The past several episodes have been particularly good, but the 5/9 episode of Lost was amazing. This episode introduced the enigmatic Jacob, so-called leader of The Others. At first he is not seen, but sharp-eyed viewers caught a glimpse of him. Click here to see the 11 frames of the shadowy image of Jacob. Does he look like someone we know?

The Office - Pam Gets Real on Beach Day

By now you know how good NBC's The Office is...at least I hope you do. Thursday's (5/10) episode was of the usual exceptional quality, but with a big, big twist. Check out this clip from the episode, probably the best "come out of left field" revelation in the show's history. It is just one of the many reasons why I love this show. Enjoy.

Super Librarian #1 Premieres at NJLA!

I'm thrilled to report that, through the auspices of the New Jersey State Library, Super Librarian #1 premiered today at the New Jersey Library Association 2007 Annual Conference. I co-wrote the comic book with Manny (Rosca) Miracle of Somerset County Library, based upon the back story written by Sharon Scaife. Manny, Sharon and I signed premiere copies of the comic book for librarians attending the conference. We had a great time and our fondest hope is that people, both librarians and our library customers, enjoy the comic book and the story we created. It's been a real thrill collaborating with everyone involved with the project. I'd like to thank Manny and Sharon, artist supreme Wes Richards, in addition to Nancy Dowd and Susan Kaplan of the State Library. If you missed out on us today, we'll be doing the same thing on Wednesday at the State Library booth in the Exhibitor's Hall! Hope to see you there! Click on the photo for a closer look at the team behind the comic book!
