Two parts pop culture, a dash of professional librarianship and a whole lot of World of Warcraft.

The Burning Crusade Arriveth
Yesterday, January 16, 2007, was the big day for all of us World of Warcraft fans. The first WoW expansion, The Burning Crusade, was released. I missed out on a Collector's Edition this time around (boo, hiss). I did, however, take advantage of free character transfers to switch my most played characters (Devildog, Neq, Atoz, Twiddley, Tyl, Starcatt and Drolemit) from the overpopulated Khadgar server to the brand spanking new Trollbane server. I will miss Khadgar, my home since WoW launched in November 2004. I am very happy in my new Trollbane home and with exploring Outland! Enjoy and see you in the World!

The Burning Crusade Cometh
To Do List (Must complete before January 16th):
- Program Windows Media Player with five-star favorites for a whoop-ass "Best Of" listening experience while leveling up in Outland.
- Position all three level 60 characters outside of the Dark Portal.
- Continue to level Drolemit as much as possible before he becomes the forgotten toon.
- Stockpile chicken pot pies and cranberry juice.
- Defrag hard drive.
- Say goodbye to RL.
