Super Librarian #1 Premieres at NJLA!
I'm thrilled to report that, through the auspices of the New Jersey State Library, Super Librarian #1 premiered today at the New Jersey Library Association 2007 Annual Conference. I co-wrote the comic book with Manny (Rosca) Miracle of Somerset County Library, based upon the back story written by Sharon Scaife. Manny, Sharon and I signed premiere copies of the comic book for librarians attending the conference. We had a great time and our fondest hope is that people, both librarians and our library customers, enjoy the comic book and the story we created. It's been a real thrill collaborating with everyone involved with the project. I'd like to thank Manny and Sharon, artist supreme Wes Richards, in addition to Nancy Dowd and Susan Kaplan of the State Library. If you missed out on us today, we'll be doing the same thing on Wednesday at the State Library booth in the Exhibitor's Hall! Hope to see you there! Click on the photo for a closer look at the team behind the comic book! David- you, Manny and Sharon were a real hit at NJLA - we are hearing such great things about the comic book already! Can't wait until May 5 when NJ gets to read it for Free Comci Book Day.
