The Beatles - Love CD

When I heard about this, the newest of all The Beatles' compilations, I thought, "Sheesh, not another one." Here George Martin and his son have remixed and produced a really long "mash-up" of many of The Beatles' best songs. Believe it or not, this new album is actually really good. If you are going to pick it up, be sure to get the deluxe edition, the one with the audio DVD. Listening to the DVD on the proper equipment capable of producing a full 5.1 surround experience is an awe-inspiring treat. The music and effects swirl around you. Prepare to hear The Beatles in clearer fidelity than ever before. Pop the CD version in your car for a 70 plus minute soundtrack to your road trip. OK now, can Apple please give us official DVDs of the Let It Be and Help! movies now?

Favorite New TV Series: Heroes (NBC)

It's official. NBC's new series Heroes is not good...it's great! Yours truly, the died in the wool comics fan, was crossing his fingers in anticipation and fortunately the results turned out to be excellent. Lots of people are asking the question, "Is Heroes the next Lost?" That's not the comparison I'm making. I'm comparing Heroes to one of my favorite graphic novels of all time. Yes, Watchmen. I can't help but wonder what Alan Moore thinks of Heroes. I think he'd be impressed because there are similarities between the two.

Say Hello to Starcatt

Here we see my newest World of Warcraft character, the Night Elf Hunter Starcatt and her faithful companion pet lion Humar taking a rest on the hill overlooking the Whelgar Excavation in the Wetlands. I started this character during the summer and after leveling a Warrior (Devildog) and a Druid (Neq) to 60, my goal is to level Starcatt to 60 before the WoW expansion, The Burning Crusade, comes out at the end of 2006. Hunters are really good characters to solo with because, as Blizzard says, their only true friends are their weapons and their pets. All of these characters are on the Khadgar server. Last Night's Episode of The Office...

It was great. The convention in Philadelphia. Michael and Dwight meeting up with Jim once again. Jim about to prank Dwight by busting in on his hotel room...only to walk in on...Angela??!!?? It's so great to see this awesome TV series firing on all cylinders, in the prime of its life.

The New Dr. Who

...awesome! Although I miss Christoper Eddlestonwhatever...I think the new David Tennant Dr. Who is great. Perfectly suited to the role. And it's nice to see Rose again, even though we know that this current season will be her last. This season will hold the return of Sarah Jane Smith and K-9 from wayyyyyy long ago in our Dr. Who past and I am ready and waiting for that. Once again, it's great to be a Dr. Who fan.
